Job Summary

• Support and transport vulnerable service users as part of a team.
• Attend the office within one hour during on-call shifts.
• Maintain Enhanced DBS (organized and paid for during Induction).
• Provide a professional and caring service for all patients.
• Prioritize patient safety and adhere to safe systems of work.
• Support patient care during assessments in line with the Mental Health Act.
• Ensure safe use of company vehicles and equipment, prepare necessary paperwork, and drive locally and nationally.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Valid UK Manual Driving Licence held for at least 1 year.
• Age over 21 (due to insurance requirements).
• Passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in healthcare (desirable but not required).
• Enhanced DBS certificate within the last 3 years (preferred).
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate resilience.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Employment Details

• Full-time, 42.1 hours per week, on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern.
• Salary: from £28,214.85 annually, paid at a blended rate of £12.88/hour for day, night, and weekend shifts.
• Over-runs paid at £22/hour.
• Additional pay of £1.20/hour for work at mental health safety and bed watch activities.
• Overtime and call-in shifts pay an extra £1.75/hour.
