Job summary

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced mental health leader to join the Neighbourhood Mental Health Team, Specialist Adults in Worthing. You will provide visible leadership across the service, set operational standards and drive quality, safety and user-focused care.

You will manage referrals, support staff wellbeing, and contribute to transformation programmes while ensuring compliance with Trust policies and national standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in mental health services.
• Registration with the applicable UK professional body is essential.
• Strong governance, risk management and quality improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and coordinate daily team functioning.
• Oversee referrals, caseloads and service performance.
• Provide line management, supervision and staff development.
• Offer clinical oversight for complex cases and governance oversight.
• Drive service improvement, transformation and partnerships.
• Deputise for the Service Manager when required.
