Job summary

Imagine Independence is recruiting a Mental Health Support Worker to support a woman resident in Waterloo, Liverpool. The role includes budgeting, tenancy tasks, domestic chores, and helping the client access the community in a therapeutically driven, person-centred setting.

Shifts are 12 hours, four days on, four days off, with days and waking nights. Permanent and temporary contracts are available; female applicants only as required by the Equality Act 2010.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
• Ability to problem solve creatively in challenging situations.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Experience with IT systems relevant to service delivery.
• Accurate record keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, tenancy management, and domestic chores for a client.
• Facilitate access to the community and attend appointments.
• Encourage social activities and social inclusion.
• Work as part of a team to support a client discharged from secure services with a mental health diagnosis.
