Job summary

Response Organisation is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker in the UK. The role offers a salary of £27,051.44 to £28,900 per year, with a full-time schedule of 37 hours per week across days, evenings, nights and weekends.

You will support people with serious mental health challenges, helping them gain independence and life skills. Training and ongoing professional development are provided, along with a commitment to safeguarding and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living skills, wellbeing and independence
• Build positive, trusting relationships
• Encourage people to achieve personal goals, access education, employment and community opportunities
• Work alongside healthcare professionals, families and support networks
• Promote mental and physical wellbeing
• Help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment
• Learn and apply therapeutic approaches including Talk Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care
