- Pay Rate: £12.40 Per Hour
- Shifts: Days
- Full-time - 42hrs
Duties Include
- Support people with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs, using person-centred approaches to help achieve positive outcomes as outlined in their support plan.
- Basic daily duties include medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and paperwork.
- Provide emotional and practical support.
- Assist individuals to access community facilities and participate in community groups.
- Build strong relationships to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
- Empower individuals to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests.
Person Specifications
- Experience in the care industry, ICSs, or equivalent is essential.
- Experience with Mental Health Conditions, Complex Care, and Challenging Behaviours.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Good time management, organization, attention to detail, and flexibility.
- IT literacy.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Compassionate, caring, and positive personality.
- Genuine passion for making a difference in people's lives.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
- Team player and able to work independently.
