Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking an experienced mental health social worker to join the Melton & Rutland Mental Health team. Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with registration in Social Work England and HCPC-approved degree.
• Experience in risk assessment and management and multi-agency working.
• Ability to work independently and within MDTs with carers and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Care Act 2014 assessments with focus on reablement and recovery.
• Manage complex safeguarding and high-risk cases including self-neglect, ensuring outcomes.
• Collaborate with health and social care colleagues to promote wellbeing and independence.
