Job summary

Lifeways in Rugby is seeking a Mental Health Recovery Support Worker to empower adults with enduring mental ill health to live safely and independently in their own homes. Your role centers on recovery, with varied duties to support individuals’ emotional wellbeing and daily living.

You’ll assist with routines, budgeting, accessing community activities and building independence, while participating in a strong induction and clear routes for progression within Lifeways.

Qualifications

• You don’t need experience, just compassion, communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
• An NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is a bonus, and we’ll support you to achieve it.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining emotional wellbeing and developing coping strategies
• Managing accommodation and daily living routines
• Budgeting, benefits, and building financial independence
• Accessing community groups, services, and local activities
• Strengthening relationships with family, friends, and social networks
