Job summary

OneMedical Group is recruiting a compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to support Primary Care teams across Great Western Medical Practice and Whinhill Medical Practice in Aberdeen.

You will assess, plan and deliver timely mental health interventions within a multidisciplinary team to improve access and early intervention for patients.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments.
• Develop person-centred care and safety plans.
• Deliver brief interventions and provide ongoing support.
• Provide specialist advice to GPs and the multidisciplinary team.

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to support our Primary Care teams across our two Aberdeen practices; Great Western Medical Practice and Whinhill Medical Practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing timely mental health assessment, risk management and brief interventions for patients presenting with a wide range of mental health needs. You'll work closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to improve access to mental health support, promote early intervention and ensure patients receive the right care, at the right time.

What you'll be doing
