Job summary

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Band 3 pharmacy staff to support inpatient wards, urgent care and community teams across Sussex. Hospital experience is welcome but not essential, with a comprehensive induction and ongoing development support.

You will work as part of a structured, well-supported Pharmacy Hub team, handling dispensing, wards stock, medicines safety and IT systems to ensure timely medication supply.

Qualifications

Band 3 for applicants who hold the Level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
Experience working with medicines is desirable.

Responsibilities

Support the dispensing of inpatient, outpatient and discharge prescriptions.
Assemble and supply ward stock medicines.
Receive, store and rotate medicines safely.
Support controlled drug processes in line with policy.
Use electronic dispensing and tracking systems.
Monitor stock levels and expiry dates.
Communicate with clinical teams regarding medicines supply.
