Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and treat adults with serious mental illness across community and inpatient services. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, plan and deliver both individual and group interventions, and contribute to discharge planning and service development.

The role requires MOHO knowledge, HCPC registration and experience in community mental health, with opportunities to supervise students and collaborate with partner

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC
• Experience delivering MOHO-informed assessments and interventions
• Experience working in community mental health and with MDTs
• Experience supervising students or junior staff

Responsibilities

• Carry out OT assessment and treatment for patients with serious mental illness
• Plan and run individual and group treatment sessions
• Provide clinical support to the MDT and liaise with other disciplines
• Deliver discharge planning and risk assessment within community settings
• Write clear reports using MOHO-based outcome measures
• Develop partnerships with community services to support social inclusion
