Job summary

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) is recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant for the Mental Health Unit at Chorley Hospital. You will work within the occupational therapy team to help patients achieve independence through engagement in therapeutic activities and with multidisciplinary support.

Qualifications

• GCSE/level 5 or above in English and Maths or equivalent.
• Qualification in health or care.
• Evidence of continued professional development.
• Ability to undertake PAS training.

Responsibilities

• The occupational therapy team focuses on enabling patients to achieve optimum independence as part of recovering their ordinary lives.
• The senior staff offer regular clinical, professional and line management supervision as well as opportunities to attend internal and external training.
