The University of Stirling invites applications for a post to support the BSc Nursing, mental health teaching across the pre- and post-registration portfolio. The role will enable curriculum development and enhancement of taught programmes and CPD offerings.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Mental Health Nurse and NMC registered, with a commitment to academic practice. Design, deliver, and evaluate teaching and learning activities across undergraduate and postgraduate levels,

Formación

PhD in relevant discipline or equivalent professional and/or teaching experience.
Higher Education teaching qualification or equivalent e.g. PGCert and/or holding or working towards Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy (HEA)
Registered with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse

Responsabilidades

Design, deliver, assess and evaluate a range of teaching and learning, supervision and assessment activities across undergraduate, postgraduate including online/digital programmes, where required
Contribute to curriculum review and enhancement, in a manner that supports student learning and is underpinned by evidence based scholarly activity
Enhance the quality of teaching provision and programme development, drawing on leading practices from the HE sector
Develop and apply new, effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques and material, which create interest, understanding and enthusiasm amongst students
