We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding services. In line with the Five Year Forward Plan for Mental Health and a transformation program, we are growing our hospital liaison service.
Greater Manchester Mental Health Service is recruiting Band 6 mental health practitioners at our busy Central Manchester site.
We welcome enthusiastic, motivated Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners from diverse professional backgrounds, including perinatal, later life, and CYP, to join our team.
You will receive support to develop further as a mental health professional, building on your current experience. The diverse populations we serve offer numerous learning opportunities. The varied daily work and our supportive multidisciplinary team, including experts involved in research and service development, make this a rewarding environment.
As a key mental health provider in Greater Manchester, we aim to achieve parity between mental and physical health care through our CORE 24 Liaison Mental Health services. Our teams operate 24/7 at the interface of physical and mental health, providing responsive mental health care in hospitals and A&E settings with experienced multidisciplinary staff.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to delivering high-quality mental health care. You will bring a range of experience and knowledge to enhance our teams. Your attributes will enable you to conduct comprehensive, person-centred assessments, provide advice, direct interventions, and plan onward care for people of various ages and needs.
