Job Description:

This unit caters to children aged 5-16 years, including permanently excluded pupils, those close to exclusion, and children unable to attend school due to health needs. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, and have some experience working with young people exhibiting challenging behaviour.

The most recent Ofsted inspection rated this PRU as "Good". Its core values are growth, respect, opportunity, and well-being, focusing on enabling pupils to succeed through targeted interventions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with pupils exhibiting challenging behaviour (desirable)
• A compassionate, resilient, and patient personality
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child welfare
• Familiarity with tailored interventions and programmes supporting children and young people
