Job summary

Protocol Education is partnering with specialist SEMH schools in Gateshead to recruit Psychology graduates who are passionate about supporting students with emotional and behavioural needs. This role is based in Gateshead and offers full-time, temporary to permanent opportunities.

You will work 1:1 with students, deliver targeted interventions, and collaborate closely with teachers and pastoral teams to support attendance, engagement and achievement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology or similar field
• Genuine interest in mental health and child development
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Previous experience working with young people desirable
