Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a SEMH primary school in Gateshead. You will work alongside experienced teachers and pastoral staff to support pupils with emotional needs.

In this role you’ll gain exposure to behaviour support, trauma-informed practice and SEND provision, helping pupils develop emotional regulation and engage with learning activities daily.

Qualifications

• 1:1 pupil support experience or understanding of SEMH
• Understanding of emotional regulation strategies and SEND needs
• Familiarity with learning interventions in primary settings
• Ability to promote positive behaviour and engagement in class

A specialist SEMH primary school in Gateshead is seeking a dedicated Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant to work alongside experienced teachers and pastoral staff.

This role provides excellent exposure to behaviour support, emotional wellbeing, trauma-informed practice and SEND provision.
