Elysium Healthcare is seeking an Activities Coordinator for Thornford Park Hospital in Berkshire. The role focuses on developing, delivering and coordinating social, recreational and leisure activities to support treatment plans.

You will build 1-1 and group rapport with service users, plan activities around their interests, and work with the multidisciplinary team to link to community resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Mental Health setting is desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.
• Basic organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate social and recreational activities for service users in a secure environment.
• Gather information on interests and plan activities accordingly.
• Document observations and progress in clinical notes under supervision.
• Ensure health, safety, welfare and security standards are met.
