Job summary

JustOT is recruiting for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join a team in Lancashire on a locum basis. The post requires repoting to start ASAP with 28 hours per week.

You will assess and treat in a community setting, support service users to improve independence, and work within an MDT to deliver personalised care plans. Experience in mental health and community settings, HCPC registration, and strong communication skills are essential to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Band 6 OT with experience in mental health.
• Experience working in a community mental health setting.
• Strong assessment, intervention and care-planning skills.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team working abilities.
• HCPC registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions in a community mental health setting.
• Help service users develop daily living skills and independence.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
• Promote recovery-focused, person-centred approaches to care.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

JustOT are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join a team based in Lancashire, with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with a background in community mental health to make a real difference in the lives of service users, supporting their recovery, independence and overall wellbeing.

The Role:

• Deliver specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions within a community mental health setting.
• Support service users to develop daily living skills, improve independence and engage in meaningful activities.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
