Job summary

West Yorkshire outdoor lifestyle brand is seeking a Menswear Designer to own the menswear product area from trend research through to technical development and production.

The role involves developing commercial, trend-led collections, CADs and specs, collaborating with overseas suppliers, and participating in fit sessions. Hybrid working with a fixed-term contract of 12-18 months, immediate start.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years fashion design experience, ideally within menswear.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
• Good knowledge of fabrics and garment construction.
• Experience across multiple product categories.
• An interest in outdoor apparel.
• A commercial eye with a confident and collaborative approach.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Menswear Designer to join a well-established and growing Yorkshire-based outdoor lifestyle brand.

The successful candidate will play a key role within the design team, taking ownership of the menswear product area from trend research and initial concepts through to technical development and production.

The Role

• Develop commercial, trend-led menswear collections
• Create detailed technical CADs and product specifications
• Work closely with overseas suppliers on samples, costings and product development
• Attend fit sessions and sample review meetings
• Contribute to other product categories when required

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

The Package

West Yorkshire | Hybrid working

Minimum office days: Tuesday & Thursday

Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm

Friday: 8am-1pm

Full time, 37 hours per week

Fixed-term contract, approximately 12-18 months
