Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc is seeking a menswear product developer and designer to join a growing team. You will design across menswear multiproduct collections, researching trends and creating mood boards, collaborating with design, production and technical teams to develop new ranges.

Responsibilities include fabric and trim selection, costings, CADs and detailed tech packs for factories, chasing samples, lab dips, and branding.

An opportunity due to growth has arisen to join a lovely business as a menswear product developer and designer.

Working closely with a longstanding team across design, production and technical, you will design into the menswear multiproduct collections. Day to day you will be responsible for researching trends; producing mood boards; collaborating with the team to develop ideas for new ranges; selecting fabric and trims; product costings; creating CAD's and detailed tech packs for the factories; chasing samples; approving lab dips; designing labels and branding; and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and ensuring the highest quality final product. There is also the opportunity to travel overseas and present at customer meetings for a big retailer.

The role will suit candidates with strong CAD skills and are detail driven; have a a good understanding of menswear trends and fabrications; and who enjoy working as a team.
