Job summary

Tagged Resources Recruitment specialists supplying Fashion, Beauty, Food and Home is seeking a Designer – Mens and Boyswear/Girlswear for a fashion supplier to the UK high street. The role requires at least 3 years' industry experience, creative thinking, and the ability to deliver impressive concepts.

You will manage design from concept to final styling, conduct trend research, select seasonal themes, fabrics and trims, create production sketches, liaise with factories, and present mood boards

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience in menswear and boyswear
• Bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, or fashion design related
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Skilled at sketching by hand and presenting concepts
• Willingness to travel for research and development

Responsibilities

• Manage design process from conception to final styling
• Conduct market research to identify trends
• Collaborate with team to select seasonal themes and edits
• Select fabrics and trims
• Create production sketches for development packages
• Liaise with factory to ensure producible development packages
• Present story, mood, colour boards, and samples to buyers
