Job summary

TAGGED RESOURCES is recruiting a Designer – Mens and Boyswear/Girlswear for a permanent role in Birmingham. The designer will manage the design process from concept to styling, conduct market research, and collaborate with teams to set seasonal directions.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in menswear and boyswear (jersey and woven), a design degree, and proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Strong communication and deadline discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in menswear and boyswear, jersey and woven products.
• Bachelor’s degree in design or fashion design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fully PC literate: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Managing design process from conception through to final styling.
• Conducting market research to identify trends.
• Liaising with team to select seasonal themes and create new concepts.
• Selecting fabrics and trims for development packages.
• Creating production sketches for development packages.
• Liaising with factory to ensure production feasibility.
• Presenting story, mood, colour boards and samples to buyers.
