Job summary

Kent Wildlife Trust is seeking a Membership Manager to lead the organisation’s membership programme and grow unrestricted income. You’ll manage a small team, use CRM data and insights to drive recruitment, retention and engagement, and collaborate across fundraising, marketing, communications and conservation teams.

You’ll balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery, developing campaigns and member journeys while managing budgets and supplier relationships.

• Strong CRM, data analysis and digital skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A commercial and results-focused approach, with experience of achieving targets

Job description

The Trust offers hybrid working, with staff splitting their time between offices, reserves, visitor centres and some remote work, depending on their role. For this role there is a requirement to work from the Trust's head office for at least two days each week.

What you'll be doing:

As our Membership Manager, you’ll lead Kent Wildlife Trust’s membership programme, generating around £1.3 million of unrestricted income each year. You’ll develop and deliver our membership strategy to grow income, recruitment and retention, while strengthening our relationships with members and supporting our wider conservation mission.

You’ll lead a small membership team and combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, using CRM data, insight and creativity to improve performance and the member experience.

You’ll be involved in:
