Bannatyne is seeking a meticulous Membercare Assistant to help maintain high cleanliness standards across our Crewe location. You will perform thorough cleaning, sanitise facilities, and support member safety and satisfaction.

This part-time role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for health and wellness. Flexible shifts include early mornings and evenings, with a focus on exceptional service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in domestic/cleaning roles.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills and a customer focused attitude.
• A genuine passion for health, wellness and customer service.
• Ability to establish rapport, build trust and demonstrate credibility.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, lifting and using cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Hours can be 5.30am starts to 10.30pm finishes.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including changing rooms, showers, toilets and poolside facilities.
• Ensure that all gym equipment, floors and surfaces are cleaned and sanitised regularly.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners and manage waste disposal; maintain outdoor spaces.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for members and staff.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Provide friendly, approachable service to members and address inquiries promptly.
• Maintain professional demeanor and uphold the club's reputation for customer service.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and ensure adequate stock.
• Carry out basic maintenance such as changing bulbs where possible.
• Collaborate with team to maintain high standards across areas.
• Participate in team meetings and training as required.
