Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a MEICA Commissioning Engineer to lead on-site commissioning across multiple water projects in the regional area. You will ensure assets are tested, verified, and ready for operation, while collaborating with design, delivery and operations teams.

You will bring practical engineering experience in water asset maintenance or commissioning, with strong process control knowledge. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• HNC Level 4 in Electrical, Mechanical or Process Engineering.
• Experience in water asset maintenance or commissioning.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute on-site commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with design, delivery and operations teams to ensure outcomes.
• Inspect, test and verify new assets before handover.
• Produce commissioning documentation including method statements and risk assessments.
• Resolve technical issues and optimise performance on site.
• Support site acceptance testing and supplier engagement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned.

With a focus on safety, quality, and performance, you’ll help ensure that new assets function as intended and deliver long-term value for our customers and the environment.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the planning and execution of commissioning activities on siteCollaborating with design, delivery, and operational teams to ensure successful project outcomesAssisting in site inspections, testing, and performance verification of new assetsProducing and maintaining commissioning documentation, including method statements and risk assessmentsHelping to resolve technical issues and optimise performanceParticipating in site acceptance testing and early engagement with equipment suppliersFeeding into continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned processesAbout YouYou’re a hands-on engineer with a collaborative mindset and a passion for technical delivery.
