Job summary

Anglian Water Group is seeking a MEICA Commissioning Engineer to join AW Engineering on a regional basis across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, and Lincolnshire. You will oversee commissioning activities to ensure assets are tested, validated, and handed over ready for operation.

The role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and technical delivery, with opportunities to work on diverse clean water and water recycling projects and to grow within a values-driven engineering team.

Qualifications

• HNC Level 4 in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
• Experience in commissioning, operations, or maintenance (preferably in water/utilities).
• Solid understanding of process control, instrumentation, or M&E systems.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of commissioning activities on site.
• Collaborate with design, delivery, and operations teams to ensure project outcomes.
• Assist in site inspections, testing, and performance verification of new assets.
• Produce and maintain commissioning documentation, including method statements and risk assessments.
• Help resolve technical issues and optimise performance.
• Participate in site acceptance testing and engage with equipment suppliers early.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned processes.
