Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a MEICA Commissioning Engineer to join AW Engineering. You will work on clean water and water recycling projects, ensuring assets are tested, optimised and ready for operation before handover.

This hands-on role requires safety, quality and performance focus, with collaboration across design, delivery and operations teams to deliver long-term value for customers and the environment.

Qualifications

• HNC (or equivalent Level 4) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering is required.
• Experience in commissioning, operations, or maintenance is desirable, preferably in water/utilities.
• Knowledge of process control, instrumentation, or M&E systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of commissioning activities on site.
• Collaborate with design, delivery and operations teams to ensure project success.
• Assist in site inspections, testing and performance verification of new assets.
• Produce and maintain commissioning documentation including method statements and risk assessments.
• Help resolve technical issues and optimise performance.
• Participate in site acceptance testing and engage with equipment suppliers early.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned processes.
