A fantastic opportunity for a Meetings & Events Coordinatorto join us at Kimpton Clocktower - an IHG hotel. From the largest hotel ballroom in Northwest England, to the oak-panelled Directors’ room and Boardrooms, our 17 meeting spaces all have interesting stories to share!

You will earn £27,911.00 salary, plus on 10% half-yearly bonus of annual base salary.

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Meetings & Events Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for converting and maximising hotel and event enquiries, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients from initial contact to event execution.

You’ll build strong relationships with clients through regular communication, actively seek feedback and sales leads, and manage bookings using our in-house system — including creating confirmations and detailed function sheets.

To succeed as a Meetings & Events Coordinator, you will:

  • Manage and convert enquiries to maximise sales, occupancy, and revenue — including up-selling food & beverage and other hotel services.
  • Accurately input all enquiries into our Sales and Catering system and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Compile and distribute detailed function sheets, and collaborate with the Operations Team to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Liaise with clients to gather accurate event details and identify how the hotel can best meet their needs.
  • Deliver exceptional service to all guests and clients, whether in person or over the phone, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.
  • Respond to all Meetings & Events enquiries in line with company standards.
  • Contribute to team goals and departmental targets through proactive collaboration and a positive, solutions-focused approach.
