Job summary

Corin Group is seeking a candidate to design medical and mechanical devices, with a focus on orthopaedic implants and instrumentation. You will work with CAD, FEA and PLM tools to develop concepts and deliver production-ready designs.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, with CAD proficiency and the ability to collaboratively contribute in a fast-paced, regulated environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing medtech company in the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Medical/Biomedical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical device design or regulated industries is desirable.
• Strong CAD, FEA, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of design processes, ideally in orthopaedics.

Responsibilities

• Design medical and mechanical devices using CAD, FEA and PLM software.
• Develop concept and detailed designs and support transfer to production.
• Create and maintain design documentation (drawings, process sheets, inspection docs).
• Maintain design control, risk management docs, and technical reports.
