Job summary

CPI is seeking a proactive Product Design Engineer to support a diverse medtech project portfolio. You will contribute to research, concept development, and detailed design for manufacture as part of a collaborative engineering team.

The role focuses on multiple projects from requirements capture to design development and manufacture detailing, with client and supplier engagement to meet high technical standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Design Engineering, Product Design Engineering or related field.
• Experience with CAD and creating mechanical designs and drawings.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) principles.
• Ability to document technical work clearly and communicate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Support research and development activities to inform product design.
• Develop mechanical designs, assemblies and drawings with BOMs.
• Contribute to prototype testing, evaluation and iteration.
• Engage with clients and suppliers to ensure project success.
