Job summary

IQVIA MedTech seeks a Field Service Engineer Technician to install and configure automated medication dispensing hardware in healthcare facilities across the United States.

Role entails extensive travel, collaboration with engineers and project managers, and routine commissioning of systems with paid training provided. Per-diem, assignment-based schedule; strong hands-on electronics, hardware, and software skills required.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year related electronics, hardware, software or mechanical experience.
• Professional business acumen and communication skills.
• Comfort with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
• Ability to read schematics and work with engineers and healthcare personnel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to travel 100% locally, regionally, and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Organize, test, and assemble automated medication dispensing systems.
• Review schematics, drawings, docs, and logistics to support installation.
• Carry out pre-assembly, building, and installation of conveyors and dispensers.
• Install pneumatic devices, RFID readers, and sensors.
• Commission electronic/electrical systems and cabling.
• Record data from product tests after installation.
• Ensure work meets quality compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with support staff to manage timelines and customer needs.
• Training for this role will be provided and paid.
