An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy Emergency Floor team at LUHFT on the Royal Liverpool site, working alongside pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and ATOs.
We are seeking a registered pharmacy technician with an accuracy checking certificate who is eager to develop their potential and leverage the scope this role offers to provide patient-centered service delivery.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours). Our pharmacy technicians work across 7 days, covering hours from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4.15pm on weekends. Staff can request shifts and days off within the rota for flexibility.
Services are provided to the Emergency Department and the Acute Medical Unit. You will play a vital role in ensuring optimal pharmacy service performance while working in busy departments as part of the Medicine Management team.
Technicians are encouraged to progress through additional training to advance their careers.

You will collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals in the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit to deliver high-quality, patient-focused medicines management services.
Your responsibilities include ensuring safe, cost-effective pharmaceutical care, facilitating patient discharge and transfer, and maintaining excellent organizational skills.
You will also rotate through our dispensary, utilizing your accuracy checking certificate.
You must work accurately, pay attention to detail, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and uphold high standards in patient care.
Our services operate daily, including weekends, bank holidays, and late nights.
