Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, based at the Princess of Wales Hospital, is seeking a registered Pharmacy Technician (Band 5) for a fixed term secondment to cover maternity leave. The role works within the automated, technician-led dispensary and wards, delivering medicines management, patient counselling, and support to pharmacists and other health professionals.

The Medicines Management Directorate has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed registered Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team based at the Princess of Wales Hospital.
Our Band 5 Technicians are valued members of the multidisciplinary team at ward level and work as ACTs in the automated, Technician led dispensary. You will gain experience across a variety of clinical specialities, working closely with pharmacists and other health care professionals to deliver a high quality, patient focussed medicines management service.

Applicants must have a BTEC and NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences Or Equivalent Qualifications to enable them to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
The successful candidate must also hold an Accredited Checking Technician qualification and be in a position to work towards the Accredited Medicines Management qualification.
