Qualifications

• Must be GPhC-registered and qualified as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience in primary care, community or secondary care settings preferred.
• Organised, accurate and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician role with GP Surgery

An excellent opportunity for a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician to join an established primary care pharmacy team, supporting medicines management across multiple GP practices in the West Somerset area.

The role will involve:

• Medicines reconciliation and discharge medication reviews
• Prescription and medication-related queries
• Medication monitoring and annual review preparation
• Care home medicines optimisation
• Medicines safety audits and quality improvement projects
• High-risk medication monitoring
• Supporting patients, GPs, pharmacists and wider healthcare teams

The ideal candidate will be:

• GPhC-registered as a Pharmacy Technician
• Qualified to BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Experienced in primary care, community or secondary care
• Organised, accurate and confident working independently
• A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail

CPPE Pharmacy Technician in General Practice training will be required unless already completed.

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week

Part-time: 30 hours per week
