Job summary

NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board is recruiting for a Medicines Optimisation administrative and project support role. You will help commission medicines-related services by ensuring information, meetings, records and routine financial processes are managed accurately and efficiently, and act as a point of contact for routine enquiries, FOI and complaints where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day business including correspondence, agendas, papers and minutes.
• Support projects by coordinating activities, maintaining project documentation, monitoring progress and assisting senior colleagues to deliver agreed plans.
• Organise meetings and events involving internal teams and external stakeholders, including arranging virtual meetings and ensuring that papers and follow-up actions are completed promptly.
• Manage and monitor information systems, to ensure data is accurate, local pathways are followed and queries or discrepancies are resolved.
• Provide routine financial administration, including validating and coding invoices in accordance with Standing Financial Instructions, maintaining financial records and supplying information for financial reports.
• Liaise with the NHS Business Services Authority to support the establishment of new prescribing codes for newly commissioned services.
• Work with medicines optimisation delivery partners, including the Medicines Optimisation Shared Service, to obtain timely data, information and intelligence.
