Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Medical Business Partner to act as a key advisor on medical workforce matters, MHPS compliance, workforce planning and professional standards. You will ensure governance and people policies align with delivering safe patient care.

You will lead complex investigations, support HR processes, and build strong relationships with clinicians and professional bodies to promote best practice and fair employment relations.

Qualifications

• Masters level qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Leadership training or formal development in management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex medical workforce employee relations cases.
• Provide specialist advice on consultants, SAS, trust-grade and honorary doctors.
• Support disciplinary, grievance, dignity at work, capability and attendance processes.
• Ensure cases align with MHPS, employment law and Trust policies.
• Develop approaches promoting informal resolution where possible.
• Maintain relationships with professional organisations including the BMA.
