A part time role to provide an effective and efficient Medical Secretary role within the Pathology directorate.
An enthusiastic, motivated individual is required to provide a flexible, efficient support in the secretarial service to our Pathology Team in the clinical support services Division at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful applicant will be experienced in secretarial and office work and be required to use computerised systems such as PAS (Patient Administration System) Advantis, the Winscribe Digital dictation system and the Pathology LIMS system. You must have a good standard of general education and be experienced in secretarial/administrative skills including good knowledge of medical terminology; be familiar with HR processes and possess excellent organisational skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsible for typing and processing of all work generated by the consultants and their junior medical team, adhering to appropriate deadlines.
