About the Role

Our client seeks an accomplished and scientifically driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to focus on their oncology portfolio. This hybrid role requires regular travel to key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers (HCPs) within the Randburg region, complemented by remote work for reporting and strategic planning. You will serve as a crucial scientific expert, building relationships with leading oncologists and researchers, disseminating critical clinical data, and gathering insights to support our product development and medical strategy. The ideal candidate possesses deep scientific knowledge in oncology and exceptional communication skills to foster scientific exchange and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in oncology.
• Disseminate complex scientific and clinical data regarding company products and therapeutic areas.
• Gather and relay insights from KOLs and HCPs regarding treatment landscapes and unmet medical needs.
• Support clinical trial activities, including site identification and investigator engagement.
• Develop and deliver scientific presentations and educational materials.
• Collaborate with internal medical affairs, clinical development, and R&D teams.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Pharm.D., M.D., Ph.D.) in a relevant scientific or medical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or a related role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on oncology.
• Demonstrated expertise in oncology therapeutics and clinical trial data interpretation.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid remote/field-based role.
