Job summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Typist to support General Medicine within the Medicine and Emergency Care Division. The role involves accurate typing, clerical duties, and handling patient records for Consultants and junior medical staff.

The ideal candidate will have GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent), IT proficiency, and prior office/secretarial experience. NHS experience and knowledge of medical terminology are desirable assets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Audio typing for Consultants and Junior Medical staff.
• General word processing and clerical tasks.
• Filing, photocopying and processing post.
• Answering telephone calls and managing patient records.
• Retrieving and returning patient records as required.
