An opportunity has arisen for a fixed-term Medical Records Officer based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
You will provide comprehensive, confidential clerical and administrative support to the Medical Records Service throughout University Hospital Crosshouse.
You will be educated to ‘O’ Grade / Standard Grade Credit or National 5 in English and Maths and possess an SVQ Level II qualification in Administration or equivalent experience. You will also have proven typing skills, experience of data input, and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams & PowerPoint). Experience with the electronic Patient Management System (PMS – Trakcare) and NHS environment experience are desirable. You should have excellent communication skills, maintain confidentiality, and understand GDPR, with flexibility to adapt to changes.
37 per week, working Monday to Thursday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, and Friday, 9.00 am to 4.30 pm.
A driving licence and car ownership are desirable, as travel across sites within Ayrshire & Arran may be required.
