A healthcare facility in Great Hallingbury is looking for three experienced Receptionists / Administrators to join their team. Candidates should have prior experience in a GP practice and familiarity with the SystmOne clinical system. The role includes managing appointments, answering calls, and handling patient forms in a busy environment. Strong communication and organisational skills are must-haves. The position offers flexible hours and is not suitable for gap students. Competitive pay at £12.21 per hour is provided, along with NHS pension option and annual leave.
We are looking for three experienced Receptionists / Administrators to join our friendly team. Previous experience within a busy GP Practice is essential, along with a good working knowledge of SystmOne clinical system / Accurx, so you are able to hit the ground running, supporting our team and patients.
The ideal candidates must be confident, a quick learner, possess excellent communication and organisational skills, have a polite telephone manner along with the ability to deal with sensitive / confidential issues appropriately whilst remaining calm under pressure. Candidates must be able to work cohesively as part of a team and be capable of working in a fast paced and at times stressful environment. Positivity and a robust nature are a must!
You will be required to cover additional hours for staff holidays and sickness sometimes at short notice, which may include a later finish. Attendance at staff meetings / training may at times be in addition to your contracted hours.

Helix Medical Centre is based within Herts and Essex Community Hospital in Bishop's Stortford. We pride ourselves on delivering professional medical care in a friendly environment while striving to meet all the challenges of modern General Practice.
We are members of the local Primary Care Network providing extended services as a hub to the local community. We also work with Allied Health professionals together with an expanding complement of ARRs staff including Physicians Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist, Community Paramedical, Community Midwife, Health and Wellbeing Advisor, Care Co‑ordinator, Social Prescribers and First contact physio, Dietician etc. There is a wide socio‑economic and demographic served within our catchment area providing an interesting and varied case mix.
Role 1: 38 hours per week: Monday 8am – 6.30pm, Tuesday 8am – 6.30pm, Thursday 9am – 7.30pm or 8am – 6.30pm (late night Thursday required on alternate weeks)
Role 2: 38 hours per week: Tuesday 9.30pm – 8pm, Thursday 8am – 6.30pm, Friday 8am – 6.30pm
Role 3: 28.5 hours per week: Monday 8am – 6.30pm, Tuesday 8am – 6.30pm
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour.
Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks annual leave inclusive of bank holidays. Entitlements are pro‑rata for part‑time employees.
Pension: Option to join NHS Pension scheme.
