Job summary

Orbia Fluor and Energy Materials (OF&EM) seeks a lead for the Medical Products QC Team to ensure a compliant analytical and quality control function supporting manufacture and sale of Medical Propellants.

The role involves planning analytical schedules, coordinating calibration, and supporting audits by regulatory bodies and customers, while driving continuous improvement in the laboratory. Strong cGMP experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum: HNC/HND Chemistry.
• Desirable: Degree in Chemistry.
• Extensive experience of working in a QC Laboratory operating to cGMP standards.
• Understanding of QC in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience of managing a QC laboratory preferably one working to cGMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Medical Products QC Team to ensure compliant analytical and QC functions.
• Plan analytical schedules to meet production and sales requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and systems.
• Assist in hosting cGMP and quality audits by regulatory bodies and customers.
• Oversee stability study activities within the laboratory.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to benefit the Medical Propellants Laboratory.
