Job Opportunity: Specialist Clinical Engineer

The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is seeking a Specialist Clinical Engineer to join our state-of-the-art centre of excellence. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Degree in Physics, Electronics, Medical Physics, or a related field. Relevant engineering experience in the medical equipment sector will also be considered.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support for a wide range of electromedical equipment, including repair, maintenance, and calibration.
  2. Conduct equipment training for medical, clinical, and nursing staff.
  3. Support various clinical specialties within the hospital.
Specialist Areas

Applicants should be familiar with areas covered by GJNH Medical Physics, such as:

  • Anaesthetics
  • Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery
  • Dialysis
  • Endoscopy
  • General Surgery
  • Infusion Devices
  • Laboratories
  • Orthopaedics
  • Perfusion
  • Medical Equipment IT Systems
  • Thoracic Surgery
Additional Requirements
  • High IT literacy
  • Excellent communication skills across all staff levels
  • Post-training experience in a clinical engineering department or similar engineering role
  • RCT registration is desirable
