Job Description:

The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is seeking a Specialist Clinical Engineer to join its state-of-the-art centre of excellence. The ideal candidate will have at least a Degree in Physics, Electronics, Medical Physics, or a related field. Relevant engineering experience in medical equipment may also be considered.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support for a wide range of electromedical equipment, including repair, maintenance, and calibration.
  • Providing equipment training to medical, clinical, and nursing staff.
  • Supporting various clinical specialties.

Specialty areas: Candidates should be familiar with areas such as Anaesthetics, Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Dialysis, Endoscopy, General Surgery, Infusion Devices, Laboratories, Orthopaedics, Perfusion, Medical Equipment IT systems, and Thoracic Surgery.

Additional requirements:

  • High level of IT literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff at all levels.
  • Post-training experience within a clinical engineering department or similar role.
  • RCT registration is desirable.
