Job summary

Helix Medical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Application Specialist – Medical Physics to support hospitals nationwide, with a Southern England focus. You’ll demonstrate, install, train and provide technical support on radiotherapy hardware and software, including QA devices, SGRT, AI-based tumour mapping and patient immobilisation systems.

Based in the South of the UK, expect 1–2 nights away per week and opportunities to collaborate with dedicated medical physics teams while enjoying thorough

Qualifications

• Degree in Medical Physics, Medical Radiation Physics, or Physics; recent graduates welcome.
• Hands-on engineering and computing/IT interest; comfortable with hardware/software installation and training.
• Articulate, professional, self-motivated with high comfort using technology and training others.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate, install, train and provide technical support on radiotherapy hardware and software (QA devices, SGRT, AI tumour mapping, immobilisation).
• Build relationships with Medical Physicists, Radiotherapy Physicists and Clinical teams to support clinical practice.
• Travel to customers; spend 1-2 nights away from home per week and collaborate with clients.
