Job summary

Elekta in Oxford hires a field-based Application Specialist to deliver training and provide application support for radiotherapy solutions. You will travel domestically and internationally up to 70% to enable go-live, optimisation and customer adoption.

You will train customers, evaluate training effectiveness, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Product Management to drive clinical and operational outcomes across North Europe.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Therapeutic Radiography, Healthcare Science or related field with radiotherapy experience.
  • Strong understanding of radiotherapy workflows including 3D and IMRT/VMAT planning.
  • Experience delivering clinical or software training in healthcare or medical tech.
  • Knowledge of treatment planning systems; Monaco experience advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers through implementation, go-live and optimisation activities to maximise outcomes.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and support continuous learning and adoption.
  • Provide timely, professional support while meeting customer expectations and service commitments.
  • Build strong customer relationships and use feedback to enhance satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer and business needs.
  • Act as trusted advisor, sharing best practices and contributing to product improvements.
  • Support customer engagement activities, including conferences and training materials development.

Job description

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Degree in Therapeutic Radiography, Healthcare Science (Radiotherapy Physics), Biomedical Engineering, or a related field, with experience in a radiotherapy environment.
  • Strong understanding of radiotherapy workflows, including 3D and IMRT/VMAT treatment planning.
  • Experience delivering clinical or software training, ideally within healthcare or medical technology.
  • Knowledge of treatment planning systems; Monaco experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Fluent English; additional European language skills are beneficial.
  • Strong organisational and digital skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 70%).
