Job summary

Irwin Mitchell LLP in Sheffield is seeking a Solicitor at 3-5 PQE to join our Group Actions Team within Medical Negligence. You will manage your own caseload on medical negligence and product liability cases, while supporting senior colleagues on high‑profile litigation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years PQE with a Medical Negligence background.
• Some experience of group actions and/or product liability would be an advantage but is not a pre-requisite.
• Highly organised.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to work in a pressurised environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of medical negligence and group action claims.
• Support senior colleagues on high‑profile, high‑value litigation.
• Provide clear, empathetic legal advice to clients from the outset.
• Collaborate with experts, counsel and other stakeholders to build strong cases.
• Contribute to the team’s strategic development and knowledge sharing.
