Job summary

Simpson Judge in Liverpool is seeking an experienced medical negligence solicitor to manage claims from instruction to settlement, mediation or trial. You will lead client care, strategy, drafting documents, instruct experts and negotiate settlements.

The role requires 2+ years PQE in medical negligence, independence in handling varied caseloads, strong communication and business development instincts. Hybrid working and a competitive salary are on offer.

Hours: 9:00-5:00, Monday to Friday

I’m working with a well-established firm in Liverpool that’s looking to add to its medical negligence team. The Role

You’ll manage a broad range of medical negligence claims from instruction through to settlement, mediation or trial. Day to day, that means:

• Client care and case strategy
• Drafting legal documents
• Instructing experts and counsel
• Negotiating settlements
• Ensuring compliance with professional standards

About You

• At least 2 years’ PQE in medical negligence
• Able to work independently and manage a varied caseload, including litigated claims
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills
