Instinctive Ltd is seeking a Product Support Engineer to act as the technical backbone of our service operation in the UK. You will support field engineers, assist the customer service team, and manage manufacturer cases while overseeing workshop facilities and calibration programmes.

The role combines engineering expertise with strong communication, ensuring timely fault resolution and compliance with laser safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• HNC/HND or degree in Electronic/Electrical/Biomedical/Medical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with schematics literacy.
• Experience with medical device servicing and calibration principles.
• Familiarity with PC-based diagnostics and technical software.

Aufgaben

• Provide second-line technical support to field service engineers.
• Assist with fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair strategies.
• Review findings and recommend corrective actions; escalate as needed.
• Manage technical support cases through to resolution.
• Maintain technical records and service documentation.
• Develop internal technical knowledge bases.
• Review service reports and assist customer service with queries.
• Support quotations for repairs, upgrades, and modifications.
• Act as primary contact with manufacturing partners for technical liaison.
• Monitor warranty claims and communicate updates.
• Oversee workshop tooling, calibration schedules, and asset management.
• Coordinate training requirements and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
