The role involves supporting Biomedical Scientists by performing various tasks within Pathology, ensuring high-quality service delivery. The University Hospital of North Midlands, Mid Cheshire, and East Cheshire NHS Trusts form the North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service, a pathology network established in line with an NHSI directive.
We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our Virology department.
The post holder will perform a range of routine and non-routine tasks within Pathology, following Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including the Pathology Quality Policy. They will provide clerical and technical support to Biomedical Scientists to ensure a high-quality service across all areas of the relevant Pathology Discipline.
The position is based in Infection Sciences at Royal Stoke Hospital.
